hi i am a saab technician and have encountered such problems as yours on the 9-3 there are several things that spring to mind firstly on some cars i have found that the wheel bearings can move in the housing under load i.e turning out of a drive etc. the most common though is a loosening bolt where the two lower torque control arms join this unfortunately lies .
