I'm simply trying to install the mounting bracket to the junction box using the tiny provided screws as shown in the pictures below, but the screws do not grab on to any of the hardware when I start to screw them in.

The cooler box is made by the Acorn sheet metal company of Chicago so it isn't a far stretch that Schwinn might have done the bike portion. I have not found a serial number on the bike portion yet. Update on the trike. Box has been stripped to bare metal. Body work done. Still a little dinged but it has character. 95% paint completed. Undercarriage is assembled and hoping to get it finally assembled tomorrow. Looks like this went to the right person! Anxious to see complete with cooler box attached.
