There is a small black box on top of the left fender in the engine compartment that seems to house a thermal connecting the battery to a fusible link and . Just the bare chassis as shown in the pic. Note : There are 2 generation of D12 Chassis. Please refer to your actual chassis before ordering. They are not compatible with each other. The difference is the rear battery area. *not suitable for D42. D42 has a shorter chassis

I had fuse 38 melt (not blow) for the trailer running lights a week ago while towing my small enclosed trailer,and have been chasing my . With the ignition key in the run position, check for power on fuse 42 (15 amp) and the 30 amp circuit breaker (601) of the Central Junction Box (CJB). The Ford owners manual does not identify a "Battery Junction Box" in the fuse locations.
