MANILAtmt play, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P1 million was seized in a sting that also resulted in the arrest of three drug suspects in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental on Friday.

The suspects – identified only as Ji-Ji, Erica and Ed – were collared after they reportedly sold a pack of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay 3, according to Western Visayas police director Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky.

Police said charges of violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against the suspects.

On the same day, police seized shabu with an estimated street value of P204,000 in Cabuyao, Laguna.

The anti-drug operation in Barangay Niugan resulted in the arrest of a drug suspect, identified only as Mark.

Aside from the illegal substance, police seized the suspect’s motorcycle.

Meanwhile, in Bulacan, up to P300,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves were seized from a drug suspect in San Jose del Monte City yesterday morning.

Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said the suspect, identified only as Vic, was collared following a sting in Barangay Poblacion.

Police said they seized from the suspect 2,500 grams of dried marijuana leaves and a weighing scale.
