Hello all. I'm new to this forum, and have a question about Kimber Type I vs Type II as it relates to the mainspring housing. I recently purchased a Kimber Warrior (Type I) which has a mainspring housing with a lanyard loop. I feel that the lanyard loop gets in the way a bit during reloads, and since I'm never going to attach a lanyard to the gun, I really don't see the point.
